Revealed: Why Nana Addo Did Not Vote In District Assembly Elections

Press Secretary to New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo Addo has explained that his boss deliberately abstained from voting in yesterday’s district assembly elections.

Eugene Arhin in an interview on Adom FM said Nana Addo would have shot himself in the foot if he had voted in the elections, which was characterized by apathy across the country.

“Nana Akufo Addo has made it categorically clear that the current voters register is terribly flawed and that it is not fit for any purpose, which includes voting to elect a President, Members of Parliament and Assembly members. If he did cast his vote yesterday, it would have amounted to double standards and Nana Addo is not known for that,” he said.

Political opponents of the Nana Akufo Addo are making a meal of his inability to cast his vote in the national exercise which is required of every Ghanaian upon attaining eighteen (18) years of age and beyond.

The veteran politician has been lambasted for not showing a good example by discharging his civic responsibility.
