This Friday, September 4, will see the official unveiling of a new cinema and entertainment complex, Global Cinemas, at Weija in Accra with the worldwide premiere of blockbuster movie, “Transporter”.

The multi-purpose and luxurious Global Cinemas has three state-of-the-art cinema halls with a combined seating capacity of over 500, and is poised to offer premium viewing experiences to cinemagoers. The world-class entertainment facility will offer movies in both 3D and 2D, with Dolby Surround Sound, plush seating, and concessions such as hotdogs, nachos, popcorn, chips, sweets and various drinks. The cinema will show quality, up-to-date movies of all genres, for moviegoers of all ages and interests, with movies from Ghana, Hollywood, Bollywood, Nollywood and other global and African movie industries.

On the unique entertainment offering Global Cinemas is presenting to Ghanaians, Eric Adae, Head of Communications said, “Global Cinemas features an entertainment complex that includes a state-of-the-art cinema complex, with three halls, Starbites Restaurant, Aura Sports Bar and Lounge, an events grounds and soon-to-be launched kid’s playground and video gaming arena. Managing Director, Ernest Boateng, said the company took notice of the demand for better stress-relieving and wellbeing-enabling entertainment options for Ghanaians, hence the establishment of Global Cinemas to fulfill that need.

The premiere this Friday will be attended by industry players, corporate officials, media, influencers, celebrities and other invited guests.

Global Cinemas is open to the general public from this weekend with “Transporter” and several other blockbuster movies set to show at the entertainment center located on the right just before the Bojo Beach junction on the Weija Road, near the old barrier.
