A strong attempt by the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress to prevent the only known aspirant from contesting President Mahama has opened a whole can of worms.

The presidential ambition of Mr. George Boateng begun to crumble after Mr. Johnson Aseidu Nketia disclosed that the former went about the process of picking his nomination form the wrong way.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia made this disclosure after presenting nomination forms to Vice President Amissah-Arthur who picked the form on behalf of President Mahama.

He advised Mr. George Boateng to seek mental help from a qualified psychiatrist.

But it appears Mr. George Boateng isn’t ready to pull the plugs by trading punches and has cast aspersions on the NDC’s General Secretary.

Speaking on Peace FM’s Evening news, Mr. George Boateng wondered why a “high fever” patient like Aseidu Nketia who lacks “brains” would want to block his shine and prevent him from contesting a “disgraceful” person like President Mahama.

“Aseidu Nketia is from a very poor family.I know his history very well and in those days he had nothing to feed on. He used to have experience seizures(gbiligbili) mixed with high fever.

"Today, such a person wants us to sing songs of praises unto his name,” he said.
