Serena Williams crashed out of the US Open at the hands of Roberta Vinci as the pressure got to the American in front of her home crowd.

Williams was hoping to complete an impressive Grand Slam by defeating Vinci, however her dreams have been shattered. Vinci won 2-6 6-4 6-4.
