"Congratulations to newly-elected CPP National Executives! The Party is in good hands," she said in a Facebook post.

The former Member of Parliament who is seeking to lead the party as Presidential candidate in the 2016 said the party will be completely set for the said election after it has elected a presidential candidate.

"We will work tirelessly to deliver CPP to power to complete Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah's unfinished agenda that will realise prosperity to our people," she said.

The new executives is led by veteran politician, Professor Edmund Delle who was elected National Chairman by a popular acclamation in Saturday's National Delegate's Congress in Sunyani.

Nii Armah Akomfrah was elected the General Secretary while the National Organiser’s position was won by Emmanuel Kwao Ogbojor. Hajia Hamdatu won the first Vice Chair position; Susan Adu Amankwa, second Vice Chair and Alhaji Amidu Tijani third Vice Chair.

Mr Samuel Gordon Etroo was voted the National Treasurer, whilst Enersto Yeboah won the National Youth Organiser’s position.The Women Organiser’s position went to Isha Sule Futa.
