Kwesi Nyantakyi�s Fraudster Granted Bail

An Accra-based businessman, Joseph Amoah who was arrested by the Accra Regional Police for allegedly defrauding Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi of over $600,000 under the pretence of securing him a construction contract has been granted bail. Amoah who was believed to be a long term friend and business partner of the Ghana Football Association boss was given the bail to the tune of GHC 200,000.00 with 4 sureties who are believed to be civil servants. The FA boss who is said to be in a partnership agreement with the �fraudster� as owners of PROKN COMPANY LTD had earlier denied rumors that he was defrauded. Ghanasportsonline.com�s investigation however reveals that the two (Nyantakyi and Amoah) have collaborated in executing several construction contracts over the years. The pair are said to have recently completed the construction of a road and school project at Bole in the Northern Region. Nyantakyi who is alleged to have been mainly providing financial supports in executing the contracts was recently said to have released a tune of over GHc2million to finance a project he bid at the Ministry of Works and Housing to lay pipes and construct roads in the Western Region of Ghana.
