Therere Moments The Risks I Took Was Too MuchI Will Not Do That Again Anas

He has named, shamed and helped jailed corrupt individuals worldwide with his perilous undercover work which will take a few to accomplish.

Faceless investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is always courageous in his interviews after any assignment – but hardly mentioned regretting doing any of them whatsoever.

In a recent interview with Ghanaian International journalist, Jefferson Kwamina Sackey on “Jefferson Reports” – the multi award winning undercover journalist, Anas has stated emphatically that he has risked his life with several assignments which will not repeat itself.

However – his recent exposé on the Ghana Judicial bribery scandal is perhaps not one of the projects Anas will consider dangerous.

“There are moments where I think that the risk I took was too much…today if you give me that chance I shouldn’t be doing that again because I could have been killed or anything,” he said.

Anas immediately mentioned the torture chamber of Bangkok prison where he disguised himself as catholic priest to investigate inmates.

He described that undercover work as “very risky and dangerous” – “If I was captured I don’t think even the Ghana mission would have heard anything because it means that you were playing in the devil’s mouth. I will not do that again. Next time I will rethink it and find a better way of doing it.”

He also mentioned the “Boli rebel raid” as a no-do investigation again due to its insecurity.
