Anas Is Not A Coward...He's Not Avoiding Any Court Summons - Kwaku Baako

Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr. has debunked claims that Anas Aremeyaw Anas cannot be found to be served with court summons.

According to reports, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is playing hard to catch, hence compelling a lawyer for one of the judges cited in the judicial scandal to file a motion for substituted service.

Tuesday edition of Daily Graphic indicated that the ace investigative journalist seems to be swerving the service by Counsel for Justice Paul Uter Dery who was caught on video allegedly collecting bribe.

The Counsel filed three separate applications aimed at stopping Anas and his Tiger Eye PI from showing the video exposing his client and other 33 Judges and magistrates receiving bribes.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo, Mr. Baako described the claims as mere fabrication and falsehood.

According to him, it is a "bloody lie" for any person to say that Anas has been avoiding the court summons.

“There’s this whole thing. I have seen that one or two newspapers are highlighting it that Anas was deliberately avoiding being served. It’s a bloody lie. It’s untrue. It’s a lie…If indeed it was true that Anas was avoiding people’s beliefs and so forth; there’s an option.”

Kweku Baako stressed that since lawyers decided to file law suits against Anas to stop him from airing the video, he has been very cooperative; "yet people go around; Anas cannot be found to be served. Anas is running away. Some have even written editorial today taking on Anas that he’s a coward of a sort and that if he wants equity; he should come with clean hands."

He therefore put on record that "there was no time that Anas avoided anybody relative to the question of being served with any summons. It’s not true. And those lawyers and those people who were looking for Anas, they knew what to do. They had advised, instructed by Anas’ lawyer and Anas himself.”
