Black Queens Deserve Their Monies...It's A Crime Against Women Not To Pay - Sefa Kayi

Host of Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Kwami Sefa Kayi has expressed disappointment in the football administration over its failure to reward the Black Queens after their victory in this year's All African Games.

The Black Queens won gold at the 2015 All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo after defeating Cameroon 1-0 in the final game at the Stade Alphonse-Massamba-Débat.

The Queens are expected to take home as bonus 2000 dollars each but has since been contending for their due.

The Queens are currently left at the mercy of the management of M-Plaza Hotel in Accra where they are lodging and making demands for the payment of their money.

Addressing the issue, Kwami Sefa Kayi, affectionately called Chairman General called on the football authorities to honour their side of the bargain with the ladies.

He wondered why the authorities are so quick to pay up bonuses of the male senior national team players, Black Stars but will "cheat" the Black Queens of benefits that duly belong to them.

"It should not be because they’re ladies…It’s shameful. It’s a crime against women. It’s pathetic. It should never happen. I have taken a stance on the Black Queens.

"...They do deserve the money. They really do deserve the money but it doesn’t look as if they want to pay.”
