George Afriyie Tipped As New FA Vice President

Ghana FA executive committee member George Afriyie remains favorite for the position as the Ghana Football Association Vice President. George Afriyie was one of the three old members elected on the Executive committee after securing 11 votes. The Black Stars management committee chairman has however been tipped to take up the top position at the FA. This follows as a result of Fred Crentsils failure to retain his position on the Committee after losing out on the four available slots for division one Clubs hence missing out on the opportunity to retain his position as the FA vice President. Crentsil was surpassed by Kweku Abaka Eyiah, Wilfred Kwaku Osei, Kurt E.S. Okraku and John Frederick Mensah after securing 23 votes. Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi is however expected to name a new vice very soon.
