To assist fishermen in their fishing expeditions, President John Dramani Mahama has authorised the release of more outboard motors to the Ministry of Fisheries for distribution to fishermen across the country. This was made known by the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Isaac Ashai Odamtten. According to him, the move would assist them in carrying out their duties. Mr Odamtten said this when the Tema New Town Canoe Owners Association outdoored some imported fishing gears at the cost of $144,000 at the Tema Canoe Landing Beach.
