"Look What Love Has Done To Me" - Becca

Ghanaian Singer Becca has admitted that her new single is based on personal experience with love.

The “Push” hit maker speaking on Okay FM this morning admitted that the lyrics of her new single “Hy3” is a reflection of how love has treated her in life.

She said love is both sweet and sour but it is the most beautiful feeling so she telling the world her story. When host Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie asked Becca if the song is based on her personal experience, Becca answered in the positive nodding her head without saying a word but the chorus of the song says it all.

“Hy3 die odo aye me” which literally means “Look what love has done to me”, Becca repeats this line so many times in the song.  

Becca has publicly admitted she is in a new relationship and she is so much in love.

“I am single when it comes to marital things because I am not married yet, but I am in a serious relationship with someone who is not in the industry. We have known each longer than we are dating, we were friends before we started dating”, Becca disclosed this on the African Drum adding that she is very happy about her relationship and this has surely influenced her new single.

The new song titled, “Hw3,” which has been officially launched today Thursday October 1, 2015, literally means “look,” and it comes days after she performed at the Global Goals Citizens Festival in New York City alongside America artistes, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran others. “Hwe” which is an authentic highlife song accompanied by some great instrumentation is expected to take music lovers on an emotional journey into what love has done for Becca as she described “this song is dear to my heart.”

“I’m basically giving you a gist of what my Love has done for me and it’s not really about the physical things, it’s about the feeling and the things that He says to me and does that makes me feel special.”

The song would be on major media platforms and also expose her to new listeners. Becca remains an adorable and talented musicians Ghana has produced. She became very popular in 2007 when she released her debut album, titled Sugar. She has since remained relevant figure on Ghana’s music scene.
