Swanzy To Transform Amissah Arthur�s Hometown If�

An Aspiring National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK), Ekuwa Swanzy has pledged to transform the hometown of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur for the better if given the mandate to lead the people of AAK constituency come 2016 parliamentary elections.

Madam Swanzy who is a true native of Moree in AAK has already provided five polytanks to the Moree community to enable them get potable water since the area has been suffering from water crisis for decades.

Madam Swanzy who again doubles as the Central Regional Women’s organizer of the NDC and Assembly woman for Moree electoral area promised to lobby for more developmental projects through the Vice President if given the nod.

According to her, the intention to contest for the AAK seat was mooted by opinion leaders in the area who know her contribution in the AAK district. She has worked hand in hand with the constituents, especially, opinion leaders to achieve her aim of transforming the area.

Madam Swanzy who is contesting with four strong men including the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) and former District Chief Executive, Christian Atta Dadzie and Atta Mends respectively was sure of defeating them.

She noted that her experience as assembly woman and regional women’s organizer will help her to manage the constituency well and solve problems as soon as possible.

Madam Swanzy said during her visit to all the 262 communities in the constituency she realized that the area needs urgent attention to address some of the challenges before the elections.

She stated that education would be her topmost priority to make sure that girls in the constituency have access to quality education to enable them cater for themselves and their families.

Madam Swanzy expressed sadness that teenage pregnancy starts at 12 years at Moree and promised this disgrace would be a thing of past in her tenure as MP and called on everybody on board, especially, the Vice President to help her fight the good fight for the people of AAK.
