Two TV3 Journalists Involved In A Fatal Accident

Two Journalists working with Kanda-based TV3 network, together with officials of the Geological Survey are involved in a near-fatal accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

The accident which occurred around midday on Thursday left one dead and many others injured after a Kumasi bound Toyota Landcruiser belonging to the Geological Survey of Ghana run into a Hyundai Grace mini bus at the Bunsu Junction.

According to eye witnesses, the mini bus was trying to negotiate a u-turn and the highway and that led to the accident.

Confirming the incident to Neat FM , the Director of Geological Survey, John Duku who was also travelling in the Landcruiser corroborated eye witnesses account but was quick to state that the two Journalists from TV3 were safe.

�...we were on our way to Sunyani but upon reaching Bunsu Junction, a Hyundai Grace bus popped out of nowhere in the middle of the highway...Our driver did his best though he could not help but run into the bus...the two TV3 Journalists escaped unhurt,� he said.
