Peacefmonline.com has gathered that a 27 year old, public toilet attendant in Changli a suburb within the Tamale metropolis has had penis slashed by a gang during a scuffle.
Azure Dok, the victim is currently responding to treatment after a group made up of cyber fraud criminals popularly known as 'Sakawa boys' twitched his manhood.
The victim is currently responding to treatment but fears his erection might be abnormal in the future. Narrating the incident to Peacefmonline.com’s correspondent in Tamale, Azure Dok said the gang had been terrorizing him in the area by always forcing their way into the toilet facility without paying.
“They constantly bombard me with insults after doing that”, he added. On the day of the incident, he reveals a member of the gang came to use the facility without paying and upon confrontation, the gang member threatened to beat him to the pulp.
Gathering guts over fear, Azure also waxed openly some empty threats and challenged the guy to do his worst. He said the show of courage was just to frighten the guy and his gang and keep them off from their regular unprovoked harassment.
Unfortunately, after the confrontation, Azure who had forgotten of the incident was attacked whiles he was taking his bath by the guy and his six other armed friends.
He said he was brutalized with dangerous weapons before they left a deep cut on his manhood with a knife and fled.
Azure was left bleeding profusely and after shouting for help, he was rushed to the hospital by neighbors who heard his cry. Sources at the Northern Regional Police Station, disclosed that the case was reported and the victim was given a medical form to go to the hospital.
The police said investigation is ongoing. None of the gang members have been arrested yet but relatives of the victim feared the case might not go further because it was believed that one of the boys who attacked the victim was the son of a bigwig of the ruling party in the region.
The police in the region have had tough time in their quest to wipe off activities of 'Sakawa Boys' in Changli.
