Anas' Boy Was Kidnapped And Assaulted Because of Judges Expose Police Confirms

A member of Tiger Eye PI investigative team, Ishmael Hussein was on Saturday kidnapped by a five-member gang in Tamale, Northern Region.

The Northern Regional PRO of the Ghana Police Service, ASP Ebenezer Tettey has indicated that Adamu Asuma, the gang leader, identified Ishmael as being a member of Anas investigative team and so informed his members who helped in abducting him (Ishmael).

ASP Tettey said Adamu confessed that they kidnapped Ishmael because of his involvement in the latest Anas expose.

According to him (Adamu), had it not been Ishmael, a judge from Tamale who has been implicated in the judicial scandal would not have been caught.

We had information on Saturday that Ishmael Hussein had been kidnapped and so the police went searching but it was difficult to find the exact location; since they kept moving him from one place to the other. He (Ishmael) was held for over 30 minutes in a single room apartment and later moved to two other places when they realised he was communicating with somebody outside. It was at Abuabo that we got hold of them and rescued Ishmael who was traumatisedWe are charging him (Adamu) for kidnapping and assault, ASP Tettey said during an interview on PEACE FM morning show 'Kokrokoo' with Kwami Sefa Kayi.
