Radio Presenter at Accra-based Happy FM, Wofa Kwabena Kwakye, has passed on today.
The Radio personality has been sick for sometime now, until his sudden demise.
“He’s been sick for sometime, but he reported to work, and even reviewed the newspapers yesterday, after which he complained of headache,” a colleague told this website.
Kwabena Kwakye’s experience as radio presenter started at GBC where he received a lot of training through the ranks.In pursuit of further laurels, he moved to Top Radio. His next move saw him at Radio Hits. As a news presenter and producer, he made his mark at all these station before joining Happy FM in 2004.
He has since been, at various times, news reader and presenter of the political programme “Ye Pe Ahu”.
Until his death, he presented the news and also hosted the “Adadamu” musical programme, showcasing music for the senior members of the listening public.
