Our Next President Nana Akufo-Addo Is My Good Brother; No Squabbles Between Us - Alan

“Our next President, Nana Akufo-Addo and I have gone through internal competition with the third one being last year,” the astute former Trade, Industry and PSI Minister, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen stated last Monday in the studio’s of Citi fm as the NPP’s 2016 Flagbearer climaxed the much resonating ‘Rise and Build’ tour.

The former Flagbearer aspirant reiterated the importance of unity of purpose by his continues expression of the oneness that has existed between him and Nana Akufo-Addo; urging all party members to espouse the values of ‘oneness of direction’ and also to disregard and treat with contempt any such baseless allegation.

In a passionate voice, Mr. John Alan Kyerematen posited “in our party we believe in competition and after competition is cooperation. Our tradition believes in competition and cooperation comes after every competition; I have always cooperated after our past competitions and this is no exception”.

“This is why you have seen me here supporting my good brother Nana to get him elected as the next President of Ghana,” he added.

When asked about the unfair and bias perception party members have held long about him, he discounted the perception and seeming claims that there has been existence of frosty relationship between him and Nana Akufo-Addo.

Nana Akufo-Addo in summing up his ‘Rise and Build’ tour expressed much happiness about it as the NPP members in the countryside, regions and in the constituencies braced the tour; stressing it has reinvigorated the party and brought back the morale.

“The way the tour was hailed across the country encouraged me considerably that the decision to do it has been very accepted. Secondly, it has given us the opportunity to send messages to the Ghanaian populace,” he stated.
