Egbert Faibille Fights To See Anas Face

Anas Aremyaw Anas may be compelled to reveal his identity if an application yet to be filed at the High Court is granted.

Citi News has gathered that lawyer for one of the Judicial Service staff implicated in the recent corruption scandal exposed by Anas and his Tiger Eye PI firm, Egbert Faibille, may seek that order due to the insistence of the committee investigating the implicated staff of the service, to protect the identity of Anas.

Egbert Faibille is reported to have walked out from the sitting with his client after his request to have Anas unveiled was turned down.

Citi News’ Franklin Badu Jnr reported that “…Egbert Faibille walked out of the committee meeting with his client because his application to have Anas unmasked and for the two other hooded men to exit the room to allow for cross examination was turned down.”

He said the committee explained that the request could not be granted because it was Tigereye PI that petitioned the president to have the judges removed and not Anas, “so Anas or two or more people representing Tigereye PI could be placed before the meeting.”

“My understanding also is that Egbert Faibille, may file an application at the High Court to compel Anas to unmask himself before the committee, and also for the two others who followed him to leave the committee sitting during cross examination,” he added.
