Some Gurus In The NDC Want A New Voters Register � Karbo
NPP’s Anthony Abayifaa Karbo has hinted that, some kingpins in the ruling NDC want the voters register to be changed.
Although he failed to mention names, he was emphatic on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie' that – “Secretly, the NDC want a new voters register.”
He charged the NDC to come out boldly and join the chorus for a new voters register before the 2016 polls.
“We must all do the right thing to ensure a peaceful and transparent election in 2016,” he told host Kwasi Aboagye.
He however condemned reports that the NPP would not take part in the 2016 election if the current “bloated” voters register is not changed.
According to him, the NPP will rather go the extra mile to see the register changed by the EC.
“NPP will not boycott the 2016 election,” – he maintained.
