Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah has suffered a fresh injury after sustaining a knock in Juventus 2-0 win over Atalanta on Sunday.
Asamoah who was making a return from a long-term injury came on as a second half substitute to replace Roberto Pereyra.
The 26-year-old will have his injury woes continue after doctors confirmed he will be out for three weeks.
The former Udinese man is said to have suffered a thigh (biceps femoris) strain which will keep him out of action for at least 20 days.
Kwadwo Asamoah also checked in for tests today, which showed that the Ghanaian had suffered a first-grade tear of the femoral bicep in his left thigh. The midfielders recovery period has been estimated at approximately 20 days, parts of a statement on the Juventus website read.
The midfielder had been out of action for more than eight months after undergoing a knee surgery in December last year.
His latest injury will see him miss Ghanas World Cup qualifier against Comoros next month.
