We Will Repair Kwabena Agyepong's Damaged Car - Nana Akomea

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyepong has been attacked at the party’s headquarters.

Agyepong, who is an ally of suspended national Chairman, Paul Afoko, had the back screen of his four-wheel drive damaged. Communication Director of the party, Nana Akomea who confirmed the incident on Asempa FM’s Ekosi Sen Thursday said they have no idea what triggered the attack.

He explained that they were having a Steering Committee meeting when the General Secretary came to tell them what had happened to his car.

"We all rushed out to check and I saw his windscreen cracked," he added.

Nana Akomea said they have resolved to repair the damaged car of the General Secretary but will hunt for the culprits and hand them over to the police.

Kwabena Agyepong according to sources had gone to meeting primarily to inform the executives of a pending lawsuit against the party by supporters of the suspension of the National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

When the General Secretary came out from the meeting, the source said people started booing at him and few minutes later others started banging the bonnet of his car which led to the crack.

Mr. Agyepong managed to leave the party headquarters unhurt.
