God Gave Paul Afoko A Huge Opportunity To Lead NPP & He Messed Up... - Atik Mohammed

Atik Mohammed of the People's National Convention (PNC) has expressed disappointment in the suspended National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Paul Afoko.

According to him, Mr. Afoko has disgraced Northerners in the country.

Commenting on the NPP internal strife coupled with Paul Afoko being suspended indefinitely by the party's Disciplinary Committee, Atik Mohammed was worried he (Paul Afoko) may mess up the chances of Northerners to occupy positions in the nation.

To him, Paul Afoko's position was handed to him on a silver platter by the party's delegates and so, he wasn't expected to court controversy within the party.

God has given you the opportunity to lead a big opposition party like the NPP but look at what you’re doing. My worry is that it’s beginning to disable our opportunities in the future as youth and that is my biggest worry.

Expressing further views on the NPP situation, Atik Mohammed however called on the party's rank and file to foster unity and harmony among themselves.

He advised them to maintain law and order so as to promote peace in the NPP and also help Ghana's politics.
