AUDIO: Why Kwabena Agyepong Reported To The Police

Davis Opoku Ansah, popularly known as OPK has explained how the rear windscreen of Kwabena Agyepong’s vehicle was virtually ripped-off.

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyepong's vehicle was pelted with stones by some unknown persons at the party’s headquarters. After the incident, pictures that emerged showed the rear windscreen of the car ripped-off halfway.

However, Perry Okudjeto, Deputy Communications Director of the party stated that the images making the rounds are false and that the extent of damage was not as severe as the pictures portrayed.

Speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi, Thursday, OPK, an aide to the General Secretary said to ensure none of the party members (those gathered at the party headquarters) were following him, he made a stopover at former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s house before lodging an official complaint with the police.

“…to ensure that nobody was following, he went to former President Kufuor’s house because there was security…there were road bumps and potholes on the way and that was how the windscreen was ripped-off halfway but the whole thing came down when we got to the police station...” he said.

Davis Opoku Ansah also explained why Kwabena Agyepong reported the incident to the police.
