Though actor Bismark Nii Odoi aka Bismark the joke is known for his witty and comic characters, he does not take advantage of that and fool at every least opportunity.
According to the actor, he does not take advantage of that and do the unnecessary.
“Fooling or playing comic roles is what I do and I do it for good reasons unlike others who still act their movie characters even when they are not on set. I fool when I have to and when I am in my element, I give off my best,” he said in an interview with Jay Foley and Jeremie on LBC on Live 91.9 FM.
Bismark the joke also said that, whatever his fans see him do on set, is just not something that comes out of the blue rather he scripts them.
“I script the things I do on set. When I get a script from a producer, what I do is to read it properly, get the understanding and see how best I can get a comic character out of it. Though naturally I get into my comic mood when I hear the director say action, I still work to get the best out of me,” he said.
Christened Bismark Nii Odoi comes from labadi, a surburb of Accra. He went to Rev Thomas Clegg Memorial Methodist JHS at kaneshie and then to St.Francis Sec.Tech in Akim Oda.
