Fight Against Corruption Is A Matter Of Leadership... - Hon. Kokofu

Hon. Henry Kokofu, NPP Member of Parliament for Bantama has urged public officials to resist any act of corruption.

According to him, the involvement of public officials as well as government appointees in this economic canker deprives Ghanaians of their livelihood.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Hon. Kokofu advised the nation to change their character and behaviour towards the economy.

He also urged the leaders to lead a major crusade against corruptible practices in the country.

The fight against corruption is a matter for leadership. The role of the government, the role of the leaders, the role of the general public and the role of public officers, particularly government appointees; we need attitudinal change.

Contributing further to Kokrokoo, Hon. Henry Kokofu took with a pinch of salt the 'citizen vigilante' and former Attorney-General Martin Amidu's counter findings on Anas Aremeyaw Anas' judicial corruption exposé.

He told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the claims made by Mr. Amidu have not been substantiated and so, called on to provide real evidence to support his assertions.

Until then, he cast a shred of doubt on the article written by Mr. Amidu saying Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI were sponsored by the Government of Ghana to undertake their mission on the judicial service.
