Communities Reverse Decision Not To Vote After MP's Visit

Despite issuing a chilling caveat to deal with any politician who would "step foot in Mankarigu, Lukula and Yagbon in the North Gonja constituency in the Northern, drama unfolded when the Member of Parliament for the area stepped foot in the area. The youth in the area staged a mammoth welcome Hon. Bani Abudu Nelson, the MP for Daboya/Mankarigu constituency.

He was caught up at the entrance of the constituency by these joyous deep dyed supporters and was ordered to put off the engine of his vehicle which they chugged along into the constituency 

The youth who went berserk in happiness cheered and chanted "John Mahama Nelson", "double double" and "No shaking"

The youth in these three zones in a press release to Peacefm and  sanctioned by the Mankariwura David Mbema  they announced their decision to opt out from the forthcoming NDC primaries for what they said was due to "government persistent failure to meet their basic needs"

They resolved not to vote until they were connected to the national grid and provided with good drinking water and motorable roads

But in a rather surprising turn of events, the Member of Parliament appearance created an electrifying effect on the public

However, Hon. Baani Nelson did not go to the constituency empty handed.

In an advance steps to solve the problem of no electricity in the constituency, the MP provided electric poles to the people of Yagbon after he had provided same to the people of Mankarigu

Hon. Nelson also in a bid to solve the acute water challenge in the constituency provided pump machines totaling ghc12000.00 to two communities in the constituency

Speaking to the charge crowd, the MP conceded the area is still in economic backwater but gave a clear cut assurance to deal with the challenges when voted for in the forthcoming primaries

In a barnstorming speech Hon. Abudu Nelson promised "I will give you lights within six months if you vote for in the primaries. As for the road, it has been awarded to a contract long time and assured you the contractor will be on sight soon. Due to my training I don’t know how to tell lies, I won’t lie because of politics, and I mean everything I say here. Send me to parliament again and you see wonders in this constituency"

The MP who wield inestimable clout in the area believes looking at his achievement he was better off his opponent and believed he was the only one to maintain the set for the NDC

In short statement, the Mankariguwura commended the MP and said he was convinced Hon. Bani would bring development to the area

The visit was a bang on target as the youth followed to MP all around till his tour.
