#NDC Decides: Tamale Central, Nanton Constituencies Hot Spots

The Northern regional police command has identified two constituencies that could be the throbbing heart of violence on Saturday's NDC parliamentary aspirants election.

Regional police public relations officer, ASP Ebenezer Tetteh indicates the police have picked signals of possible violent in these constituencies on the day of the election.

"We are picking some information and we are working on them, for instance Tamale Central there are a lot of rumour and counter rumour" about clouds of violence looming large

There have been volcanic eruption of controversies at the Tamale Central constituency the very day aspirants picked nomination forms for the contest

The incumbent MP, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini is said to be facing the harrowing moment of his political career which many believe he may be sailing close to the wind

His close contender Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim has promised to give him a hot run, a situation that has created some social vermins engaging in verbal duel and whispering campaigns on social media and rally grounds

The Nanton constituency which is currently represented by Hon. Ibrahim Mutala Mohammed is also tipped a hive of disturbance on Saturday'spolls

According to close and deep source within the polity this was due to the "invectives being use on campaign grounds"

The source says"some people from different constituency have been brought in to infiltrate just to kick out the incumbent MP"

But police has  assured that special arrangements have been provided for to deal with the situation

"Some of these rumours we are not taking them lightly, special security arrangements has been made to counter any trouble on the voting day" ASP Ebenezer said

Meanwhile the police hinted it will deploy One thousand officers, 50 reserved team to the 740 polling centres in the region

It will also deploy CID officers to mount surveillances and another team of officers to patrol the highways and places identified as flush points
