Kwabena Agyapong Must Tone Down On His Arrogance Or Else- Ken Agyapong

Outspoken Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong says the only way the rest of the elephant fraternity will trust and accept the General Secretary of the NPP, Kwabena Agyepong fully is for him to behave as a servant of the party.

Explaining his reason for campaigning for Kwabena Agyapong during the Tamale Delegates Congress, Hon. Agyapong said it was based on his boldness to speak his mind on issues but bemoaned he is not the diligent man he canvassed for to ascend the party’s Chief Scribe position.

The Assin Central MP was reacting to the conduct of the General Secretary following the suspension of the party's National Chairman, Paul Afoko.

Ken Agyapong said his [Kwabena] position as General Secretary also hangs in a balance after some aggrieved party members filed a petition against him.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, the Assin Central MP fired a salvo at party General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong for being 'hot headed' when it comes to party issues.

According to the NPP MP, regardless of his [Agyapong’s] competency, the party risk losing a lot if he does not control his temper.

If Kwabena Agyapong wants everybody to accept him in the party, the Bible says anybody who wants to be a leader must first be a servant. He must tone down on his arrogance and I think they will forgive, else he would be suspended like the way Afoko has been suspended. The mere fact that I campaigned for him does not mean I should keep quiet if he is doing something against the party," he stated.
