Mark It On Wall; "DumSor" Will Continue Next Year - Kwesi Pratt

Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has hinted that the perennial power cuts "dum sor" will not end by December 31 this year.

According to him, the erratic power supply will continue to exist next year due to the government's inability to resolve the problems.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Mr. Pratt recounted that the power barges that government is introducing to boost power supply to communities is only an incentive but not a last solution to the energy problems.

He noted that the real cause of the energy problems is because the government does not have adequate money to buy gas and crude oil to supply electricity across the nation.

Therefore, Mr. Pratt told host Kwami Sefa Kayi to "mark it on the wall" that "we will still be in dumsor from 31st December to 1st January. I have done my research and thats why Im saying this. It is not about the ability to produce power. The dumsor is not as a result our inability to produce power. We dont have money to buy gas and crudeThe level of inefficiency in the utility companies has not changed. It has rather gone up.
