Sam George Seeks Medical Attention...Eye Blackened; Aides "Kidnapped"
Peacefmonline.com can confirm that an aspirant in the Ningo-Prampram NDC Primary is currently receiving medical treatment after been attacked by persons suspected to be working for incumbent MP, ET Mensah.
Sam George is spotting a swollen eye after he was punched in the right eye by one Habibu Mohammed while he was addressing the press.
The aspirant has lodged a formal compliant with the police.
Sam George confirm the news to PeaceFM’s Election Centre a short while ago.
Speaking to Adakabre Frimpong-Manso, one of the hosts of the programme, the aspirant who claimed his name was not captured in the register, further revealed that two of his assistants have been kidnapped.
Meanwhile, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Joseph Kwabena Ade Coker, accused the aspirant of telling “a blatant lie”, on the issue of his name not being in the register.
“…it is not true that his name is not in the register,” the Greater Accra NDC Regional Chairman stated describing his posture as “infantile”.
According to him, Sam George's name is the 217th registered in his polling station Health Post Aviam.
