NDC Primaries: Sam George Claims Are "Irrelevant" - Ade Coker

NDC’s Ade Coker has rubbished claims by Ningo-Prampram aspiring MP, Sam George against his opponent and incumbent MP, E.T Mensah describing it as “Irrelevant”.

Sam George has alleged that the incumbent NDC MP is manipulating the party’s primaries to favour himself – even though the electorates are against him.

He also alleged that he has been assaulted by supporters of E.T Mensah with some of his (Sam George) followers kidnapped.

The presidential staffer in his numerous accusations also mentioned the Greater Accra regional Chairman of the NDC, Ade Coker is overseeing a fraudulent election to favour E.T Mensah.

But in an interview with Peace FM, Mr Coker debunked Sam George’s claims insisting that the allegations lack merit – “That is irrelevant”

“We met all the aspirants and made known to them the data that we’ve got from their constituency. We have gone through it and everything is intact. There is nothing untoward. The data is absolutely correct.

“…I did not work on the document and so I will entreat all to treat Sam George’s claims with contempt. There is a committee headed by the deputy Regional Minister plus our Youth Organiser, Mr. Ashong, our Secretary and a gentleman called Gadel.

“…These are the people who worked on the document. They worked on 34 constituencies. It is an independent body and my job as a chairman is for them to brief me. I did not sit in any of their meetings, never,” he told Peace FM.

He however advised that – “If Sam George is not happy about what is going on in the constituency; he has every opportunity to use the party’s structures to lodge a complaint. E.T has done nothing wrong as he (Sam) is claiming.”
