George Andah: I Wont Get Myself Involved In Unnecessary Exchanges With Hanna Tetteh

The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya West, Nenyi George Andah says he is not ready to get involved in exchanges with Hon. Hannah Serwaa Tetteh for rating him as a political novice.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and NDC MP for Awutu Senya West, Hon. Hannah Serwaa Tetteh after retaining her candidature belittled her main opponent, Mr. George Andah, saying “this is someone who has not contested elections before”.

The Incumbent Member of Parliament for the Awutu Senya constituency in the Central Region, Hanna Tetteh made the above comments giving a strong indication that the opposition New Patriotic Party's parliamentary candidate for the constituency, George Andah; is no match for her.

But George Andah in his response, congratulated Hon. Hannah Tetteh on Oman Fm’s 'National Agenda' programme and added he is looking forward to issues-based campaign leading into the next election.

He however admitted and recognized the challenge ahead of the 2016 elections as it will not be a walk in the park; adding that with his energetic and committed youthful teams who believe in his vision and leadership, there will be real change in Awutu Senya West.

The electorates of Awutu Senya West are very discerning, and they have said they will vote for Change instead of voting for arrogance.

"The 2016 election in Awutu Senya West is not going to be about 'heavy weights'. It's not going to be about deceiving the electorate with last minute projects and using money to buy votes just to win the election and abandon the people,” he stated.

George Andah stressed that “I won’t get myself involved in unnecessary exchanges with Hanna Tetteh. The election will be based on corruption and how everything President Kufuor achieved has been destroyed by the Mahama administration”.

Ghanaians will base their voting on the collapse of the economy and the hardship inflicted on them. They will look at their living conditions to decide which government should run the country,” he emphasized.
