Unidentified hoodlums Monday dawn stormed the residence of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Klortey Korle, Nii Noi Nortey and destroyed items worth thousands of cedis in his living room.

The thugs who reportedly rode on motorbikes had Nii Noi, as their target but failed to locate him as there was blackout in the area.

They then resorted to vandalizing items including LCD TV set, home theater set and furniture.

Nii Noi’s mother who sensed danger raised alarm, causing the hooligans to speed off on their motor bikes. The police who were called in, responded quickly but got to the scene after the criminals had left.
