Raid @NPP Hdqtrs: You Don't Just See A Green Or Black Car & Think It's A Military Vehicle - Jinapor Tells NPP

Deputy Power Minister, John Jinapor has discounted claims by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that some military personnel raided the party's headquarters Monday dawn.

John Jinapor cast doubts about the identity of the aggressors who ransacked the headquarters.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', he admonished the NPP against making conjectures regarding the incident that took place at the party's office.

According to him, some members of the party have been making baseless arguments and apparently blaming the Armed Forces without any evidence.

“Military vehicles are marked by their numbers. You can’t just see any green car or any black car and conclude that it’s a Police car or military vehicle. There’s no military vehicle without a mark or numbering."

He advised the NPP to do their investigations well before making the military responsible for the raid.

"You don’t go conjecturing. You don’t go conjecturing that it’s a military vehicle. What makes a military vehicle? The only thing that tells you something is a military vehicle is its numbering...I think that we have to be a bit more responsible with our commentary.”
