Dr. Adams Nuhu Awutu-Senya East Constituency elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate, says the battle has begun to retake the seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“I thanked the voters for given me their mandate, which I am most grateful, humbly, by the confidence posed in me and more ready than determined to lead the party to take the parliamentary seat from the NPP,” he stressed.
Dr Nuhu, who is the Awutu Senya District Chief Executive, said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Kasoa in the Central Region.
He said now that the primary is over there is the need for each and every one to bury their differences, see themselves as one people and work vigorously towards the victory they have targeted.
“I hope, the delegates voted for me in appreciation to the assistance I have been given them, and also due to the numerous projects my outfit and the NDC party have and are executing in the constituency,” he added.
