NPP Danquah Ladies Chide Mahamas Govt

A group calling itself, the Danquah Ladies Club, ardent supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region, has urged the Ghanaian electorate to reject the Mahama-led NDC administration in the 2016 polls.

The group is of the view that the nation’s economic challenges coupled with several high profile corruption cases, are clear indications that President John Mahama does not deserve another four years in office.

Spokesperson for the Danquah Ladies Club, Feruza Mohammed, told Citi News that the Ghanaian electorate will not regret voting for the Nana-Bawumia team in 2016.

“We are urging our colleague women in the country to examine the issues confronting the nation well and vote for the Nana/Bawumia ticket so that Ghana will work again.”

“We are calling on Ghanaians especially supporters of the NPP to remain loyal, dedicated, faithful and above all law abiding as the party prepares to unseat the incompetent Mahama/Arthur administration,” she emphasized.

Feruza Mohammed debunked assertions by NDC communicators suggesting that the NPP is incapable of governing the country because of the incessant confusion within the rank and file of the party.

“We wish to bring to the notice of the Ghanaian electorate that those who wish to see NPP go into the 2016 elections with a divided front are living in the fool’s paradise.”

The Danquah Ladies Spokesperson impressed upon all NPP loyalists to remain resolute and conduct themselves in a manner that will attract floating voters.

“Let us vote for the Nana/Bawumia ticket to strengthen the NHIS, MMT, Capitation, School Feeding and LEAP and to restore the teacher trainee allowance and also review the free SHS. These are the social interventions that any caring government shall focus on to better the lives of their citizenry especially the female gender who are considered the vulnerable and form majority of our population.”

The Danquah Ladies Club has commenced series of political activities geared towards unseating the NDC administration in 2016.

The club’s members scattered all over the Northern Region are visiting homes and market squares urging the citizenry to vote for the NPP in 2016.
