Former Assembly Member To Contest Okai Koi North Seat As Independent Candidate
Mr Joseph Akoto Lamptey former Assembly member for the Akweteman Electoral Area in Okai Koi North and a member of the NDC has declared his intention to contest the 2016 Parliamentary election in Okai Koi North as an Independent candidate.
Speaking with Peace fm in Accra, Mr Lamptey said encouragement from many of the constituents to contest the election and his burning desire to fight for the development of the constituency motivated him to take the decision.
Already Mr Fuseini Issa NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Okai Koi North and Mr Abdul Razak Issa NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Okai Koi North are seriously lacing their boots for the 2016 election.
