President John Dramani Mahama Inaugurates $30m Kasapreko Bottling Plant

President John Dramani Mahama has commissioned a first class bottling plant of Kasapreko Company Limited, an alcoholic beverage producer in Accra.

The new plant cost 30 million dollars and in an address by the president, he congratulated Kasapreko  for enduring the test of time and developing into a household name that is gradually expanding from the borders of Ghana to other West African countries and internationally communities.

The remarkable growth of Kasapreko, deepened President Mahama’s believe that Ghana companies have the potential to excel in business and to create great products that can compete at the world market.

He assured local companies of governments’ commitment of creating an enabling environment under the Transformational Agenda for their survival.

The Group Chairman of Kasapreko, Dr. Kwabena Adjei said the success story is due to hard work and taking risk in a challenging competitive market.

He said it is time Africans rose up to the competition in the global market.  According to him, the African continent is endowed with all the resources and therefore it will be out of place if its Industries are not able to stand the competition in the global market.

Over the years, Kasapreko has given Ghanaians a truly good unique and local alternative to foreign brands of liquors and wines and the first newly branded Alomo bitters was yesterday presented to President Mahama.
