Accra bourse bounces back

The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) bounced back in trading on Wednesday, after Tuesday�s slip that broke a series of healthy gains. The All-Share Index gained 8.47 points at 6,489.54 from 6,481.07 on Tuesday. Change for the year was also better at -37.79 per cent while market capitalisation improved at GH�16,056.53 million from GH�16,050.36 million. Traded volumes were, however, down at 172,300 shares from 326,800 shares. On the broader market, there were three price changes � all up. GOIL gained GH�0.01 at GH�0.16; UT also gained GH�0.01 at GH�0.18 and State Insurance Company was also GH�0.01 up at GH�0.31.
