The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has revealed that certain persons surrounding the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo are planning to assasinate him.
The Man of God speaking on Adom FM’s Evening News on Saturday said the persons are people closer to the flagbearer but are unhappy to see him become President of the nation in 2016.
“Nana Addo holds the keys to Ghana’s election in 2016 but if he does not take care, he would go to the grave with the keys because certain persons are planning to assassinate him…,” he said.
The Septegenarian has led the party into two elections which the party has lost.
He was re-elected for the third time in 2014 but internal rivalry in his party has overshadowed his campaign efforts.
This rivalry has led to the indefinite suspension of the party’s Chairman, General Secretary and 2nd Vice Chairman - Paul Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong and Sammy Crabbe respectively.
These persons have threatened the stability of the party with one form of court action and counter press releases.
The reverend minister who released a tall list of things to happen in the country in the year 2016 however claimed that God had seen the evil plots of these persons and hence called on them to repent.
“…I can assure them that God has seen them and their evil plots so they should becareful…,” he warned.
According to him, Nana Addo would win the 2016 elections hands down if it is conducted on the planned date but 'certain people aware of the victory that would come Nana's way would try to do something that would make people have sympathy on them and cause them to be in power for long.'
He further said that God showed unto him that there would be floods and fire which would lead to the deaths of many persons in the election year.
