Teacher Most Important Factor In Achieving Education- Dr Essuman

Dr. Sally Essuman, a lecturer of the University of Education, Winneba, said teachers were the most important school-related factor influencing student achievement.

She said when it came to student’s performance a teacher was estimated to have two to three times the impact of any other school factor, including service, facilities and even leadership.

The teacher, she said was the pivot of quality education that the country needed and it was time government and teacher education institutions realized that and invest in the teacher to help bring transformation to the nation.
