Ghana’s undisputed king of satiric comedy, Kwaku Santim Misa (KSM), has apologised to his numerous fans for not putting up a good show on his comeback Afia Siriboe show.
Consequently, he gave hints of hanging up with comedy this year when he hits sixty (60) years.
The show, organised last year on the Christmas day, December 25, 2015 at the National Theatre, saw scores of people throng to watch the humourous comedian who fused his comedy with politics and everyday activities.
Asked about his impression after his performance, KSM said: “That’s the nature of comedy, you can hit or miss. I think I missed this one. All I have to do is lick my wounds and move on.”
He made these observations on Accra-based Pluzz FM, saying “yes I know I have missed this one but I believe it is one of those performances and which this year I will climax it with KSM@60.”
He added: “Although I missed the show I was enthused as both shows were well- attended.”
When asked what fans should expect from him this year, he said “fans should expect nothing but KSM is coming back bigger and better.”
