Grooms Nightmare Traditional Skirt Falls Down At His Own Wedding (VIDEO)

A GROOM’S worst nightmare came true when he was left half-naked at his own wedding.

The man was filmed tying the knot wearing a veshti skirt, a piece of traditional men’s clothing in South Asia, which was wrapped around his waist and secured by knot.

The groom can be seen walking, holding hands with his bride behind him, when it suddenly falls down exposing his underpants and bare legs – leaving him scrambling to regain some dignity as he tries to pull it back up.

What’s more, it seems his new wife was to blame for the mishap - the video shows her accidentally stepping on the veshti as the pair walk.

Luckily, the shocked hubby appears to laugh the whole thing off, while several people in the congregation can also be heard laughing off screen.

The hilarious moment was captured by multiple cameras and although the poor groom quickly tried to recover some modesty, it was too late to avoid any embarrassment and the footage was posted online.

A veshti, also known as a dhoti, is a traditional garment worn by men on special occasions such as weddings, particularly in India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
