Kaakyire Kwame Appiah Supports Salinko

Highlife musician and actor, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah has pledged his undying support to colleague actor Abraham Kofi Davies known in the showbiz industry as Oboy Salinko for the latter's recent parliamentary ambition on the ticket of the Progressive People's Party(PPP) in the Atwima Kwanwoma Consistency of the Ashanti Region.

According to the "Dumsor Bronya" hitmaker who is currently outside the country with his family in an interview with Care TV said he is happy people from the entertainment industry are pushing through to the Parliament House.

"I am very happy for my brother Salinko for such a bold decision. It is great to see industry players aspiring to be in the Parliament House. At least they can help to fight for our interest. We need our own representatives there".

His comment follows a confirmation from Oboy Salinko to run on the ticket of the Progressive People's Party primaries as a member of Parliament in the Atwima Kwanwoma Consistency in the Ashanti Region.

Kaakyire's support for Salinko comes to add to that of a comedian and actor, Funny Face who recently pledged his full support for Salinko.
