Premiership side Sunderland are preparing a swoop for Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew, according to UK-based Skysports.
Ayew has been one of the outstanding performers for Swansea City so far this season.
The 26-year-old who scored against Sunderland in a League match on Wednesday could be on his way to the Stadium of lights after just six months with Swansea.
Sunderland who are narrowly above the relegation zone are ready to cash in on the Ghanaian international before the January transfer window comes o a close.
Reports indicate that Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce is eager to bring the former Olymique Marseille ace to the stadium of lights hence has urged the Club to make approach for the player who has so far scored 7 goals in the English Premier League this season.
The Black Stars deputy skipper has already won the Barclays Premier League player of the month.
He has also clinched three Swansea City player of the month award since this season.
