A Politicial Science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Mr. Amakye Boateng has revealed that his colleague, Dr. Amoako Baah of the same faculty is an ardent activist of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to him, the media should henceforth see his colleague lecturer as an NPP activist whenever he is called to give unbiased account as a political science lecturer on national issues to benefit the country.

His comment is based on the fact that Dr. Amoako Baah is the architect of the NPP’s fundraiser at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and is also seen always addressing issues relating to the NPP.

Dr. Amoako Baah on many occasions has been linked to the opposition New Patriotic Party with his political analysis by the members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) as they see his views to be bias against the government.

Speaking to that effect, Mr. Amakye Boateng on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show has put to rest the uncertain identity of Dr. Amoako Baah, saying “he is now wearing NPP’s shirt and so any comment he makes in public is geared to favor his party [NPP].”

“He can’t be independent anymore on his views; straight away, see him as NPP activist whenever you call for his objective opinion on national issues because he is now a direct NPP member,” he asserted.

He stressed that Dr. Richard Amoako Baah is not someone who is a disinterested analyst of political issues but rather, he is an interested actor in matters which will raise the political fortunes of the NPP in the 2016 election.
