Bulldog Mocks Socrates Safo

Artiste manager, Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog has reacted to Socrates Safo’s statement that the only act he [Bulldog] is comfortable with is changing his Togo jeans.

Socrates while discrediting Bulldog’s assertion that the entertainment industry is booming under the Mahama-led administration said Bulldog is experiencing hardship just like any other Ghanaian. He indicated that the energy crisis that has lingered on for three years has rather collapsed the arts. The situation, he said, has made life uncomfortable for all.

“People are struggling and you say business is booming? Ask Bulldog, ‘Is he comfortable?’ No! The only thing that has been comfortable for him is changing his Togo trousers and now wearing designer trousers,” he fumed on Pluzz FM’s AM Pluzz on Friday.

Bulldog on the same platform defended his claims citing that the government gave two million Ghana cedis to the arts and further questioned what previous governments have done. In what seemed to be a reply to the ‘Togo jeans’ comment, Bulldog humorously said Socrates needs a hair on his bald head.

“My attribution was that the man has devoted two million Ghana cedis to help us. He should tell me what previous governments have done… Most of us have not paid our bills up until now. We have compounded the problems of our own nation and we are pointing fingers at who? Do you think the president will wake up in the morning and just throw problems at us? You think he wants to be insulted all the time? Let me do this on the lighter note. He (Socrates) needs a haircut. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have hair,” he laughed uncontrollably.

When show host, Sammy Flex asked if he was not being personal with that comment, Bulldog answered, “I’m not being personal. I like my Togo jeans. At least, it was made in Togo; it’s my own.”
