Presidential aspirant of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) Samia Nkrumah has said she is convinced that her ‘brother’ Onzy Nkrumah who is a disqualified flag bearer aspirant of the party has been planted by the CPP’s political detractors.
According to her, Onzy’s latest comment has given him up as one who really never had the interest of the party at heart.
The two personalities in recent times have had a banter and accused each other of undermining themselves. Onzy believes Samia was responsible for his disqualification from the party’s flag bearer race.
Onzy Nkrumah However speaking on Starr Chat Wednesday, Samia Nkrumah described Onzy as a fraudster and could not be a child of Ghana’s first President Dr Kwame Nkrumah as Onzy is claiming.
She noted that while the CPP was trying to close its ranks and forge ahead for victory in the November general election, Onzy Nkrumah has decided to rock the party’s boat.
“He is the cause of the confusion in the CPP. He has been planted by external forces, our detractors to scuttle our chances. The CPP is closing its ranks and knows who to lead us.”
