Wisas Manhood To Be Shown In Court

An Accra Circuit Court has instructed the prosecution in the case in which Eugene Ahsie , otherwise known as ‘Wisa Greid’, the musician who allegedly exposed his manhood during a stage performance to bring the video to be shown in court on February 5, 2016.

This was after the investigator in the case Detective Chief Inspector Edward Adjei Odame was led in-evidence by DSP J.B. Asante as the first prosecution witness in the matter.

Contrary to what happened at the last adjourned date when the accused appeared with his counsel, during yesterday’s hearing, he appeared as a lone ranger since his lawyer Jerry Agbenovor had abandoned him for non-payment of legal fees.

Testimony

Chief Insp. Odame told the court that on December 24, 2015 at about 12:00am (midnight) the accused person was caught in an act of gross indecency.

He said investigations into the case disclosed that on the said date, Airtel Ghana Limited and Citi FM, an Accra-based radio station organized a show called “Decemba2Rememba” where most artistes were intend to perform live on stage to the audience.

Trousers down, manhood out

According to him, when Wisa was called onto stage after 12:00am, he came dancing with a female dancer, adding that, he duly performed first music and a second one followed. Insp. Odame said, in both these instances Wisa was dancing with the female dancer and at the latter part of the song, accused drew closer at the time the dancer was facing the audience.

“The accused went closer to her back and pulled down his trousers a bit and further lowered his boxer’s shorts and took his penis out and was using it to caress the lady’s back while the music was going on,” he told the court.

 Wisa Abandoned

The young hiplife musicians manager, Nana Konadu Agyemang in a brief interaction with the Daily Heritage confirmed that the musician “has not engaged his lawyer’s services” after he secured bail for him two weeks ago. The same story was confirmed by the lawyer.

The case has been adjoined to February 5.

Wisa is currently on bail after he was arrested by the police for exposing his genitals on stage at the ‘December 2 Remember’ concert at the Accra international Conference Center on Christmas Eve. Social media platforms were awash with videos of the ‘Ekiki Me’ hit signer stripping and rubbing his manhood behind his female dancer on stage.
